Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has wowed festivalgoers with its latest creative venture, the Buzz Stop, showcased at CarFest 2024. This eye-catching stand, designed by the internationally acclaimed artistic duo Craig Redman and Karl Maier, brings a splash of vibrant artistry to the UK's largest family fundraising festival.

A Creative Fusion

The Buzz Stop stands as a testament to the imaginative collaboration between Volkswagen and Craig & Karl. Drawing inspiration from the ID. Buzz—the brand’s all-electric vehicle reminiscent of the iconic Type 2 (T1) Microbus—the stand merges retro charm with modern flair. The design duo’s signature pop-art style and bold use of colors and geometric shapes create an immersive environment that perfectly captures the adventurous spirit of the ID. Buzz.

Craig Redman and Karl Maier have infused the Buzz Stop with their unique visual language, blending playful simplicity with sophisticated design. The result is a dynamic space that not only highlights the ID. Buzz but also offers a fun, engaging experience for festivalgoers of all ages.

A Premier Debut

CarFest 2024, held from August 23-25 at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire, provided the perfect backdrop for the debut of the ID. Buzz 7-seat model. This latest addition to the ID. Buzz family boasts a longer wheelbase, increased luggage capacity, and a larger 86kWh battery, offering an impressive range of up to 291 miles.

The ID. Buzz Life 7-seat starts at £59,545 ‘on the road’ and the ID. Buzz Style 7-seat begins at £64,345. Both models feature the same powerful 286PS single motor found in the standard wheelbase versions, providing a blend of performance and practicality.
